What data we process and why

When you submit a form, we store the details you give us (name, phone, email if provided and vehicle details) in our database hosted by Cloudflare and email them to Ján Gruchalák, so we can reply even if you don’t send the WhatsApp message. WhatsApp also opens with your message already written; you decide whether to send it. We only use the data to answer your request, prepare offers or assess the sale of your car.

Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long we keep it

For as long as we work together and afterwards for the periods required by law. If we don’t end up working together, we delete the data within 12 months at the latest.

Who we share it with

WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) for communication, and Cloudflare, Inc. as the host of the website, the request database and email delivery. If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, also Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel).

To import a vehicle we may share the necessary data with dealers, transport companies, registration agents (gestorías) and the DGT, only to provide the service.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under GDPR safeguards (standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to gruchalak@realitycars.sk. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
